Air ticket is still at high side due to limitation of flight schedule , that means they can enjoy higher profit for quite some time .. that should benefit AAX as well , hope to see a good QR next month ..
I thought AAX already completed the RP on their debt and share consolidation , and now they are cash flow also back on track , all these is not considered as RP ?? anyway , so many guessing game here , as small investor , no where we can get the latest insight info , we can only either give up or wait .. if the next QR result is positive and EPS more than 20sens (without reimbursement ) then it could be a big jump in share price ..lets hope for the best ...
No RP from AAX but just the past financial information to convince the Bursa that its financial performance has been improving from QR to QR and the steady cashflows generated by AAX are able to meet its debts gradually in satisfaction. With the improving financial performance of AAX from QR to QR from now , AAX is said to be in a better position to devise the constructive RP to salvage Cap A . Thats why AAX has applied for relief from submission of RP
i already said before pn17 is too optimistic.... but pn17 will denitely come out next Q,, however bursa to forgo the RP is also too much ... they can give it but they are afraid the same thing will happen to Cap A , nightmare to them
Basically, Stony is not keen to devise the RP for AAX but he would rather let the improved financial performance do the the talking with automatic upliftment subject to the approval of Bursa . As for Capital A , Stony would deal with it upon upliftment of AAX's PN 17 status ie one thing at a time...
It is felt that Bursa is in a dilemma whether to set a precedent by uplifting AAX without RP. Though the past improved financial performance is factual, it could not be taken as an assurance and/or a basis that the upcoming QR would be improved in similar fashion too. However, it can be argued that the demand for Air transportation is overwhelming now ,there is no reason why the upcoming QRs can not be maintained if not better than the previous ones.
I saw this report , but can not find from Bursa portal , so, seems like is company release info to press media .. good news is customer is more than previous quarter , Q1 is 504K and Q2 is 620K and traditionally Q2 is their low season , that means we can hope for even better numbers in Q3 ... now is waiting for official QR release , just hope not more one time charges ...pray hard ...

KUALA LUMPUR (May 23): Medium-haul low-cost airline AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) said the proposed private placement to raise RM50 million would be a "timely and strategic means" for the airline to raise funds, which will primarily be used for the reactivation and maintenance of its aircraft fleet.
Quarter end 31/03/2023 RM'000 Maintenance and overhaul8 (63,490)

So PP of RM50 million able to support the Maintenance and overhaul for how many quarter?
This is what AAX promised to do to get out of PN17 then.
Following the debt restructuring, it is also proposing a renounceable rights issue of new shares to raise gross proceeds of up to RM300 million from its existing shareholders, as well as a proposed issuance and allotment of new AAX shares to raise another RM200 million.
