What!? 30% private placement. Then what we get actually?

179 million private placement shares (29.9% of current shares) coming in to dilute 30% of the EPS.
Not to mentioned together with 18 mil warrant shares to the current 95 mil warrant shares. If all warrants converted to mother share (113 mil in total), the EPS will be further diluted 15-20%.
Orion is a good prospect company, I doubt could its earning able to catch up with addition private placement shares and warrant shares (which expired in Jul 2022).
It may faces heavy selling after the private placement took place somewhere next month. I sold half of my warrant and sold all mother shares. Waiting for it to goes down before I start collecting again.
For some of you who don't know me. I wrote up on Orion in Dec 2017 when it was 0.12, went through the period of 0.12 to 0.9 to 0.4 back to now.
@r18: it is an old news, but the private placement shares have yet to be listed. Once listed, moving forward its earning per share will be diluted by 30% (because EPS is calculated by earning divide by total shares).
What we will get after PP? nothing except diluted EPS.
To me PP is worse than right issue. at least retailers like us can choose to participate in right issue.
@pang72: Sure, everyone has his own opinion. I respect yours.
FY 2019 to date, Orion EPS was 0.58 cent (2019Q1 0.18, 2019Q2 0.4). Given it still can earn the same (assume it has +30% profit growth to offset the PP's diluted EPS), FY2019 EPS will be 1.16 cents.
at EPS 1.16 cents, current stock price of 0.21 is at PE 18. the current stock price was heavy push by the fact that it MAY become a Fintech company and good future business prospect in government sector. But the profit is yet to follow the stock price. I will leave you all to judge. In stock market there is no right or wrong, just untung or rugi only.
It is worth noting that the Sistem E-Angkasa Digital Az-Zahra was launched in mid-january this year. Therefore, the upcoming quarterly result should be very interesting.
Thirty percents of private placements indicates that the shareholders are very bullish about the company's prospect as they need to inject at least 17 mils (at the price of 10 cents) - 34 mils (at the price of 20 cents) into the company.
Are you sure shareholders are the ones wanting the private placement?

Acquisition of another 10% of Sukaniaga is good news for Orion. Means more market share in processing loan application business from huge number of cooperative members (6.17m) mostly government servants. Orion and ASAP current cmms business alone cannot support earning and share price growth.
In 2017, Scomnet take over remaining share in SMP from Taiwanese make Scomnet a strong earning and share price growth company. Its price has surged from 0.20 to 0.90. On 13/10/2017 during the announcement of acquisition of SMP, Scomnet open at 0.19. I was buying Scomnet from 0.195 to 0.215 in big qty. Highest traded for the day was 0.22. Closing at 0.195. The closing price made me sweating then. The next day Scomnet jump open at 0.215 and closed at 0.24. The price exceeded 0.30 2days later.
Orion yesterday open at 0.205 and close at 0.21. Highest was 0.23. This created a 2 sen long price tail about the same as Scomnet. Curious to see whether Orion opening price got big jump or not.
Punters would always take chances in a no/low prospect company so long there is a short term hit & run potential...
FlyDay PP mean the investors have confidence on the Co...you wont invest in a co if no prospect ..this counter is for long term and not contra player 26/03/2019 9:26 AM
