haba88,Thecontrarian: No need to be sarcastic.I just tried to put up a bit of my view, based on my guess on the actual reason for the transaction. Dutaland has expertise in development , and have little or no experience in agricultural management. Whatever I put on the land value is inmaterial, but , I want to share my view that , the transaction sound odd to me. For your info, I do not own any such share now and also in the future.

KENNY HILL PROCEEDS WAS UNDER OLYMPIA. SO DUTALAND JUST GOT A PORTION. AND REPORTED IN THIS QUARTER. SO EVERYTHING IS IN GOOD ORDER

SEE DUTALAND GO UP ALL THE WAY TO RM1.60 BY NEXT YEAR.

2 purpose for the Rm150 millions asset disposal

1) To realize profit

2) To reduce borrowings.

So there is the settlement of debt.

Last round Duta Yap used land compensation of aquisition to pare down debt, So by now Dutaland is almost debt free. Next might be a Capital Repayment like Pm Corp and Rce Cap
