In an earlier report, TA Global said it will realise a bulk of its profit from the successful construction of the Trump Tower in Canada in the financial year 2016 ending Dec 31 ( FY16 ).
The project was reportedly sold out and TA Global would also be managing the penthouses.

Singh 1, thks for your link for the proposed Little Bay Cove land sales. This is a positive news to both TA and TAGB. The proposed land sales will help TA n TAGB to realise its profit immediately.
Based on the 2015 Annual Report, the land is carried in the book at RM417.1mil. (After minus out the land used for Illume (Phase 2) development.
If the land can be sold at A$280mil (RM961.2mil), the profit from this disposal will be RM544.1mil. The profit is about 130% from the amount stated in the accounts.
Like what I said earlier, almost all the properties of TA n TAGB are situated in very prime locations. Its Little Bay Cove land is one the last few suburb development land remaining in southeastern side of Sydney. We had also seen that the NTA (net tangible assets) of TA n TAGB are highly underestimated with the 130% profit just to sell the land. Some of its properties like KLCC land, hotels in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and China have the actual present market values more than 3 times the net book values in the accounts.
Singh 1, the positive side of the possible sale are profit can be realised immediatelyand the debt gearing can be brought down to make the counter more attractive. TAGB has many properties and selling one or two pieces to make the balance sheet more attractive may be a good move.

Was looking into Charter Hall's investment in Little Bay and what happened. Have to say it seems like they gave up their 50% stake in 2014 for maybe no profit. CH bought the land in 2008 for AUD$103M, Got into development JV with TAGB in 2010 on a 50-50 basis. The development costs were to be taken care of by TAGB. TAGB started to develop and spend some money on the infrastructure etc. Launched Solis apartments (45units) in 2011. In 2013 CH decides to sell their stake for AUD 98M. So what did they make ??

Net assets moved up to 57 sen from 52 sen. Very undervalued this counter. If there was a dividend announcement together with the results would have sent the price up solidly. Good news anyways.
Please take note, the Q1 report for the period ended 31-3-2017, may come out at the end of May'2017 and final single tier dividend for the financial period ended 31 December 2016 may announce at the end of April ' 2017.
LMAO !! The research houses will come in when the counter already hit 1.00 For now they are still sleeping or giving recommendation to buy some laoyah counters.
hkc1969 I will tell you what little i know. There are 3 penthouses which are kept for recurring income. If TAGB decides to sell them some day the sale will be a clean profit. For now they are being handled by the Trump organization, I suppose to rent out to some very high profile clients.
Other thing to take note of is TAGB completed the purchase of the hotel in Feb 2017 for C$100M. This sale of property will show up as revenue or sales and the profits should show up as well. But keep in mind it is a JV between TAGB and Holborn. The sale amount will be split between the two companies. Since TAGB is buying the hotel from TAGB and Holborn there will be an increase in assets but reduction in cash. An increase in revenues and profits but we have to realise it is going from one pocket to the other pocket. Still wearing the same pants.
As for any monies still owing by those who purchased the condo units, I don't know. Maybe they have already paid in full. Basically wa tak tau on this one.
What we should look forward to for TAGB and of course TA as well is if Little bay cove gets sold. If that goes through at a good price this counters gonna fly up. My estimate is about 10 sen for TAGB and about 18 sen for TA.
Also interesting will be the upcoming launch of TA3 & TA4. This is a big project on grossly undervalued land. Keep fingers crossed. Best of luck.
There are also many other possibilities. There could be some surprises, especially if TAGB wants to build up its cash reserves. It means no dividend but will increase the strength for new investments. I have to say I love this counter and have lots of faith in the family to grow the business. Pray for good guidance.
