MKLAND (8893) rebounded strongly from its intra-day low of 0.45 to close higher at 0.465 after hitting the intra-day high of 0.475. Technically, the chart of MKLAND formed a bullish white candlestick with increasing volume, indicating strong buying interest came into the stock yesterday. It continues the breakout from the consolidation range forming a Rectangle pattern breakout. MACD continued to climb upward, indicating an increased in momentum to the upside and a buy signal. RSI (14) rose to 75.6 from 69.4, indicating the stock is turning very bullish. Stochastic hooked upward to 87.1 from 86.9, and is above the slow stochastic line, indicating a reversal to the upside. The medium and long term trend of MKLAND is up, and the short term trend is up with the 5-day SMA staying above the 10-day SMA and 30-day SMA, indicating short term uptrend, and a confirmed breakout above RM0.475 will see an upside target of RM0.485, follow by RM0.50, RM0.515, RM0.535, RM0.545 and RM0.56. Since the short term trend is bullish, day traders with shorter time frame perspective may ride on the short term bullishness and buy on breakout level (RM0.475). Those with lower risk appetite should wait at the side-line and buy on the dip.

Well said Lewis...No need to launch anything to save cost...Just sell land from time to time and use tat proceed to return back to shareholders in form of capital repayment or increased cash dividend...If they maintain dividend at 3 cts annually then i my dividend yield is 8.6% better than KWSP and ASN...After they sell all Damansara Perdana, they still have huge landbank in Perak tat can bring in at least 400 million...So Mkland balance sheet will always awashed in cash with 0 borrowings...Mammoth Empire sure will buy more land fm Mkland as they are making a landmark there SO more cashflow for Mkland...I see more upside for Mkland tis year though the property market is challenging...I ve carved mkland on the stone as the next shining stock as they unlock more values fm their land...
and one more thing KWSP gives u only dividend...With Mkland i get 8.6% dividend(which is much better than KWSP) + FREE Land+ Price Appreciation...So whoever said investing in the stock market cannot make money ask them to come and see me...

So Mr m8829 can u please please help me so that in case i am so worried about the project halted i can sell all my Mkland to Mr nemesis . Who know u can also buy Mkland at a lower price. Just to share one of my simple logic with u. Any good stock if the share price is very high or high , i consider it as not good for investment. nickyeo, to tell the truth, I admit i read the news in Focus few weeks ago, but no big deals ! 1. The project have not even started to launch, just planning to launch, I read that the surrounding neighbor's complaint cause the project temporary halted pending further approval from local council. Very common in property development, as long as the developer can change the plan in order not to block the neighbors or in any way cause inconvenience to the neighbors, normally local council can approve eventually, part and parcel in development industry !
2. Project halted does not cause the company to lose a single cent at all !! As they are debt free and develop on own land with no holding cost at all ! In fact those land value is appreciating every year !
3. As I always say in this forum, they no need to do anything at all, since no debt, no interest to serve, just sit on their prime land and let the value appreciate and many developers are queue -ing up to JV with them ! I am sure not only EMpire City wish to develop on their prime land in Damansara, many other developers who have the skills but can't get a good location land to work on !!
This MK Land can be another SEAL in the making ! (I Hope) SEAL had been hovering around 30-40 cents for years, and suddenly change of management and change of style, books show good profit and eventually shot up to 1.50 last year !! now fell back to 70 cents again... Don't you want this fairy tale story happens to MK Land as well ?!

Just buy tis counter to receive their dividend...No need to worry about their profit...Actually all tis while they are using proceed fm the land sale to give u attractive dividend...So even if their financial result is weak dividend will still maintain at 3 cts as the 82 million fm the land sale will kick in by end of tis year...more than enough to frank 3 or 4 cts dividend...
BANGI: MK Land Holdings Bhd, controlled by Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal Abu Bakar, is ramping up its launches and introducing up to RM600 million worth of properties in Selangor this year.
The property developer aimed to build a few condominium towers and s er vice d apar tments in Damansara Damai, which would have a gross development value (GDV) of RM350 million, said group chief executive officer Lau Shu Chuan.
MK Land would also launch a single tower condominium in Damansara Perdana, he said.
The project is expected to have a GDV of RM260 million.
"We have submitted the building plans, and the name of the project will be finalised once we get the approval," he said after an agreement signing ceremony between MK Land and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), here, on Wednesday.
Under the pact, MK Land's unit, Vast Option Sdn Bhd, will allow the varsity to use its "demised premises" in Bukit Merah, Perak, for teaching and learning purposes.
Demised premises refer to the premises that have been transferred by lease. The agreement is for two years subject to an annual review, starting from November 6.
Among the facilities available at the premises are two classrooms, examination halls, a library, a computer laboratory, a students' lounge, offices, photocopier using prepaid cards and study area.

m8829 what bad news u are talking about??? Anyway i am deeply disappointed till now...With such a good landbank and clean balance sheet and also with good dividend, Mkland fail all time to live up to expectation...I ve seen many counters with lousy dividend, ugly balance sheet and lousy assets yet its share price climb above 1.00...Good companies with lousy share price is the worst thing in stock market...Share like IFCAMSC with 1 cts dividend, EPS 4 cts tat is trading at 1.20 now what make u think it is worth tis current value while its NTA is only 0.15...While Mkland with NTA of 0.96, 3 cts dividend, EPS 0.55 cts is trading at just 0.435...Are investors crazy chasing for stocks tat bring little to no values at all while they like to dump something with deep value...For tis reason i totally give up as it is not logical at all...It is a great foolishness in the world of stock market...Challenge me if i am WRONG!!!
Reason is simple. Syndicates do not like stock with low liquidity. Main shareholders are also out of bullet to increase its shareholding in the company. Most of their shares are charged to the Banks. Both the main shareholders are at semi retirement stage. Therefore, you will not see big fluctuation for this counter.
I don think tat Tan Sri Mustapha doesn't ve the bullet to ramp up the share price...Anyway it is good tat it is kept at low price so that we can acquire more at open market at cheap undervalued price to prepare for the ultimate rise of Mkland in the future...Every stock has its silver lining i believe...Just wait and believe!
since mkland are in the care of the second generation, i dun think the seniors will be playing around the price. Rather, be enjoying the fruit of their labor now.
I am totally fed up now...It seems tat the land deal with empire mammoth only ignited just 1 day show only...it falls back to the hole again...I wonder what it takes for tis stock to move up???
I guess it might takes 15 years for it to reach 0.80...Is OK i am willing to wait tat long provided they continously reward us with dividend every year...I ve considered Mkland as my FD acc which i deposited for 15 years...IF after 15 yrs the price is still the same below 0.50 cts then it is confirmed fated tat i am doom and ill suited to make any money fm the stock market...I will see in 15 yrs time from now...
