This is one of the larger Bursa Property companies. The sector started to go soft in 2016/17 but there are signs of a turn around. For details of the sector performance to be my blog article "Will the Malaysian Property industry turn around by 2024?"

拟建区域最大太阳能发电厂 大马推国家能源转型路径图

吉隆坡27日讯)政府今日推出国家能源转型路径图(NETR)首阶段,同时宣布一项发电产能达1吉瓦(GW)的混合式太阳能发电厂潜在发展计划。

经济部部长拉菲兹在出席今日的NETR推介礼时指出,国库控股通过UEM集团,与ITRAMAS公司及部分外国投资者探讨合作,在本地建设一座1吉瓦的混合式太阳能发电厂,若事成,那将是东南亚最大,也是全球第8大太阳能发电设施。

“我国目前最大的太阳能发电厂为70兆瓦(MW),1吉瓦的发电规模相当于翻了近15倍。”

UEM集团、ITRAMAS公司和潜在外国投资者,包括Blueleaf Energy、中设无锡机械设备工程(CMECWUXI)、和Hexa Renewables等,已在今日会中签署相关的谅解备忘录,探讨各自在这项潜在合作项目所扮演的角色。

拉菲兹亦称,这项巨型太阳能项目已经吸引了国内外的60亿令吉投资。

与发展商合作

此外,拉菲兹指出,政府与森那美产业(SIMEPROP,5288,主板产业股)合作,在后者的City of Elmina与Bandar Bukit Raja两项大型发展项目中的450间房屋,建造发电产能总共为450兆瓦的屋顶太阳能大殿系统。

他表示,这是一种实验性的太阳能项目,目的是为了在国内打造自给自足,无需政府注资扶持的商业性再生能源项目。

“我国虽然是本区域推行再生能源的先驱,但如今进度却落后于邻国,原因正是前朝政府没有让再生能源变成一种有利可图的投资。”

拉菲兹称,政府的愿景是在全国范围的建筑屋顶,无论是住宅、工厂、回教堂和其他建筑,皆安装上太阳能光伏板。

3上市公司参与

除了森那美产业,国家能源(TENAGA,5347,主板公用事业股)和马拉卡(MALAKOF,5264 ,主板公用事业股)也加入首阶段NETR。

其中,国家能源将合作在国内开发5个100兆瓦的集中化太阳能发电园,并且计划在本国水坝中建设发电总量达2.5吉瓦的水力-太阳能混合式水上发电设施。

马拉卡则会在其Tanjung Bin发电厂中,除了煤炭也采用生物质作为发电燃料。

除了拉菲兹,出席NETR推介礼的来宾还有天然资源、环境及气候变化部长聂纳兹米、经济部秘书长拿督诺阿兹米、大马交易所(BURSA,1818,主板金融股)主席丹斯里阿都华希和总执行长拿督莫哈末乌马。

2050年前创1.85兆投资

政府将在NETR首阶段中,根据不同目的推行10个旗舰催化项目,上述再生能源发电园也是其中之一,而其他项目包括提高能源效率、发展能源存储系统、发展绿色氢能源、打造未来式交通等。

拉菲兹指出,NETR不仅帮助政府实现2050年的净零排放目标,也能够在经济上为国家带来益处,从现在到2050年之间,有望创造4350亿至1兆8500亿令吉的投资者机会。

“单论NETR首阶段,就有望带来250亿令吉投资,创造2万3000个高价值工作岗位。”

另外,拉菲兹表示,政府在NETR中设下2050年达到70%发电产能来自再生能源的目标,而那是一个经过计算后的合理目标。

“将本国70%的发电产能转换为再生能源,是个很有挑战但做得到的目标,这需要全民一起努力,向目标前进。”

集团董事经理 Datuk Azmir Merican 表示,随着试点项目的成功铺平道路,这一举措可能会扩展到未来五年内推出的 10,000 套森那美地产 (Sime Darby Property) 住宅。
“这不仅仅是关于能源生产,而是关于创建一个生态系统,利用森那美地产(Sime Darby Property)建造的房屋以前未使用的屋顶的供应来满足对绿色能源日益增长的需求。
“在这种模式下,屋顶是从购房者那里租来的,用于安装太阳能解决方案。产生的太阳能由镇内零售/商业或工业部门的高需求用户获取,”他在今天的一份声明中说。

“我们即将在我们的乡镇迈出下一步,公司将成为其乡镇等太阳能的主要发电商。然而,这不仅仅是一项商业投资,它还旨在增强社区能力并发挥重要作用马来西亚雄心勃勃的可再生能源转型。
阿兹米尔总结道:“森那美地产将继续在实现和加速政府实现净零排放方面发挥重要作用。”

RHB Raise Sime Prop Target Price to RM0.93

Maintain BUY, with new TP of MYR0.93 from MYR0.67, 35% upside and
c.3% yield. 2Q23 earnings missed expectations, but we note that 2H is
typically stronger. With 1H property sales at MYR1.5bn, management
