3iii is blue blur sotong

Ock has very high debt unlike Netx, Opcom and redtone all cash rich

Listening to 3iii will send you to Holland

Holland?

Oh yes Dutch lady or Holland grandma just posted a gruesome set of results

Dlady dropped in profit by 27% compared to last year

Annualised profit only 2.7% or p/e 36
Dlady is worst than putting money in bank FD at 3% interest which has a p/e of 33

Investing in bank fixed deposit at 3% means a p/e of 33 or double your money in 33 years

So if you put Rm1,000 in the bank today you will see your money double or grow to Rm2,000 in 33 years or 2019 + 33 = AD 2052

The value will be destroyed by inflation
But dlady at 2.7% growth is worth than bank FD which 3iii is praising

3iii is such a fool

See

Anyone here has bought Netx at 1 sen when Calvin first issued buy call on Netx?

Less than 2 months if they sell at 2 sen already made 100% already

But they are wise not to let go but holding very tightly like Calvin

Calvin so happy for all whataspp friends

Anyone of you out there bought Netx at 1 sen can feel free to sell at 2 sen and reap 100% profit.

No need to feel shy or guilty because Calvin himself still holding

The most risky part occurs when the manipulators have released enough stocks to the market. They will then dump the rest of their shares at lower prices (maybe 50c-80c). When the shares drop to 40-50c level, more punters will be interested to pick them up, believing that the stock could rebound. However, this only gives the manipulators another chance to dump their remaining shares.

Manipulators make huge profits when punters join in the 'bull run' in the counter. You can make money if you are lucky enough to exit at the right time before they dump the shares. It is very hard to predict when they will dump it. Most of the time, manipulators dump their shares when the counter looked like it was undroppable. Purchasing stocks that is being pushed is extremely risky because when it drops, it practically crashes. You can possibly earn some money every time you exit at the right time but when you fail to exit before the dump, you stand to lose a bomb.

The share market is meant for investors. I have seen many punters (some of whom are my friends) who have left the share market because they lose too much trading speculative stocks.

For those who still follow stocks that are being pushed, I would suggest you just bring your money to Genting Casino. The chances are better and you can feel more adrenalin rush watching the roulette wheel that some blinking on the computer screen.

In Malaysia, most of these speculative stocks are on the brink of bankruptcy. The chances of them surviving or turning around is close to nil. Businesses are not easy to turn around, especially with the corrupt practices and poor managements in Malaysia.

In Malaysia, luck alone wont be enough. Investing based on fundamentals and track record is the only way.

Other overvalued stocks are Nestle and QL

They are speculative stocks because not backed by fundamentals

Whoever that buy them are speculating that luck will carry them higher and higher

The risk of blindly holding on ignoring fundamentals is that one day it will come crashing down erasing all the gain that was built up over many many years

In other words, years of waiting became futile with zero return at best and negative return if not lucky

WHAT 3iii BUYS ARE BASICALLY STALWARTD

SEE WHAT PETER LYNCH SAY ABOUT STALWARTS

Medium growers (stalwarts)

“These multibillion-dollar hulks are not exactly agile climbers, but they’re faster than slow growers.” Lynch expected stalwarts to deliver gains of 30% to 50%, after which he would sell them and find new, undervalued issues. He also expected annual earnings growth of 10% to 12% and liked to keep some stalwarts in his portfolio because they offer defensive protection during market slumps: “You know they won’t go bankrupt, and soon enough they will be reassessed and their value will be restored.”

READ AGAIN

Lynch expected stalwarts to deliver gains of 30% to 50%, after which he would sell them and find new, undervalued issues

LYNCH SAID AFTER STALWARTS HAVE GAINED 30% TO 50% HE SHOULD SELL THEM AND FIND NEW ONES

SO CANNOT FALL IN LOVE LIKE HOLDING DUTCHLADY UNTIL IT GREW INTO HOLLAND GRANDMA

BUT THE DAMNABLE THING IS TO TELL PEOPLE TO BUY DLADY AT RM76.00

THAT WILL DESTROY A LOT OF WEALTH FROM PEOPLE WHO DON‘T STUDY PETER LYNCH

U need to understand & what is important loh....do u want to only grow your investment more or u want to grow your share price leh ??

In the case of insas, it had extra advantage loh....beside growing its investment it also benefited from its huge undervaluation of its share price rm 0.83 compare to its intrinsic value of more than rm 3.60 loh...!!

If u select insas it has bigger margin of safety compare to dlady loh..!! This means potential for insas to make money is much higher compare to overvalue dlady loh...!!

I almost never dived into and out of companies.

I sought good companies at a good price for long term holds.

Frequent transaction costs erode profits and timing is very difficult.

Yes, you can always find investments which do better than mine over a short term, or for a selected period, but then I missed the collapse as well.

My aim is to achieve my investment objectives over a lifetime of investing.

The major RISK facing you is the possibility of not reaching your long-term investment goal through the growth of your funds in real terms. And the greatest enemy of reaching those goals is INFLATION. Nothing is safe from inflation. Short-term price volatility is NOT risk for investors who have time horizons 5, 10, 15 or 30 years away. Volatility is the friend of the long term investor. The most important friends of your investment goal are COMPOUNDING and TIME.

(Dec 6): Asian equities' valuations climbed to a near two-year high in November, as regional stocks gained for the third straight month on hopes of an earnings recovery next year, due to easing U.S.-China trade tensions and improving global demand.

MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares rose for the third successive month in November, pushing its 12-month forward price-to-earnings ratio (P/E) to a 23-month high of 13.8 times at the end of November, Refinitiv data showed.

"We think that Asian equities can sustain above average PE valuation levels as earnings recover and valuation remains attractive versus global equities," DBS bank said in a report this week.

MSCI World index's forward P/E was about 16, at the end of last month.

India, Malaysia and Thailand were the most expensive in the region, with ratios of 17.1,15.6 and 15.2 respectively, the data showed.

On the other hand, China, Hong Kong and South Korea had the cheapest shares in the region, with P/E multiples of 9.1, 10.6 and 10.8 respectively.

If there is an economic imbalance, the majority race cannot complain that it is disadvantaged. One report in 2018 mentioned that the government is the largest shareholder of 71 publicly listed GLCs. It also owns shares in another 286.

Seven of Malaysia’s GLCs control 42% of market capitalisation in the entire Bursa Index, not including unlisted GLCs. Because these companies are located in critical and lucrative sectors, each administration has sought to establish control by instituting the patronage system. People appointed to head GLCs have been linked to the leadership – family, close friends, important associates, reliable party members or loyal former civil servants.

With the New Economic Policy long in place, giving Bumiputeras a clear advantage and government control of 42% of Bursa Index capitalisation, this begs the question of why the Malays are still at the bottom of the economic ladder. Why are most Malays still struggling to make ends meet despite all of the affirmative action?

KUALA LUMPUR: Asking prices for properties across the board in Malaysia declined in three out of four major markets namely Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Penang, according to PropertyGuru Market Index (PMI) for the third quarter (Q3) 2019.

PropertyGuru Malaysia country manager Sheldon Fernandez said overall, prices in Malaysia declined 0.9 per cent year-on-year in Q3, with Penang leading the contraction with a 1.5 per cent quarter-on-quarter decrease in its PMI to 93.4 from 94.8.

“With the exception of Johor, these downticks in asking prices are representative of downward movements in longer-term trendlines across key markets since 2015.

Howard Marks "The Most Important Thing". Chapter 7 - Controlling Risk

"Bearing risk unknowingly can be a huge mistake, but it is those who buy the securities most highly esteemed - to which "nothing bad can possibly happen" - repeatedly do.

On the other hand, the intelligent acceptance of recognised risk for profit underlies some of the wisest, most profitable investments - even though most investors dismiss them as dangerous speculations.

When you boil it all down, it is the investors' job to intelligently bear risk for profit."

because by doing so, you are taking up more risk than you know
