Valuations of Indonesian shares jumped the most among Asian markets, making them the most expensive after India and Malaysia.

As of Jan. 1, India, Malaysia and Indonesia traded at P/E ratios of 16.84, 16.11 and 15.98, respectively, the data showed.

U must understand if the stock lost is prospect to keep going up & overvalue, u must sell immediately loh....!!

A very important lesson are 3iii pick of Padini & Dlady....he should have taken advantage to sell Padini at Rm 6.00 & Dlady at Rm 80.00 but he never....the reason for 3iii not selling bcos he has fallen in love with the share loh....!!

Thats why Ben Graham advice the maximum investment time frame for stock usually 3 to 4 years to ensure it is healthy mah....!!

When raider shouted that he was buying Hengyuan at $17 and that Hengyuan's true value was $45 ...

Here are valuable lessons for all who have observed such activities.

Speculative activity is rampant in the stock market. In fact, many are speculators though they may think they are investors.

Speculative activity, using Hengyuan as an example, can erupt at any time. It is not usually recognized as such until considerable time has passed and much money has been lost.

When Hengyuan crashed from $17 to $12, raider shouted he was buying more and that he will be holding onto this forever ...

Within months of the speculative activity, the share price of Hengyuan soon fell back to $5 and then $4+.

Where are our "long term investors" (speculators) today?

I m sure when dlady was Rm 80.00 and Padini was Rm 6.00, i m sure 3iii was thinking Dlady can go Rm 160 and Padini Rm 12.00.....when overvalue just sell, do not repeat & follow 3iii stupid silly mistake loh....!!

How did 3iii get so wrong on Dlady and Padini leh ??

He could have taken profit & sold his dlady at Rm 80 and padini at Rm 6 but he did not loh....!!

This is bcos 3iii has no sense of valuation, he did not see this 2 stock are overvalue and has no margin of safety n ought to be sold loh...!!

The lesson is that Stock who has quality but trade at excessive price, with no margin of safety ought to be sold loh...!!
