Dreamhouse

Its no 100% confirm yet, these is because the water deal involve 3 parties: Puncak as seller, state and fed as jointly buyer. In addition, the deal is interconditional upon agreement between Puncak and State and agreement between State and Fed. As for now, there is conflict in agreement between Fed and state in which Fed request extension, but State refuse and allow the deal to lapse. Nonetheless, these lapse in agreement may or may not affect agreement between Puncak and State.....3 possible scenario again as below:

Scenario 1: State or Fed grant wavier its inter conditional term and Puncak deal still valid

Scenario 2. Both state and Fed last min compromise to continue agreement

Scenario 3. All agreement between Puncak and State and agreement between state and Fed totally lapse

hng33, doubt state has the money to buy, fed does though. It would be a whole lot easier if fed were to absorb those companies and negotiate with state directly, instead of having to go back and forth this time. One of my wishful guess

Knee effect, RM 2.57 serve opportunity to seize more Puncak share price at even depress price. Once market calm down, Puncak will rebound back later.

Roger 123

I'm keep accumulate and average down Puncak holding cost as i'm fundamental believer. Currently, I'm using my cash flow and reserve in my retail business to accumulate more Puncak today at 2.57, therefore, i will treat investment in Puncak as part of my long term business.

normally fundamental believer is a BIG GAMBLER.

I just read from a book by Jessi Livermore (the most famous stock trader of all-time.) that stated this.

Thanks to hng for keep on supporting this shares and buying it up. I will continue to keep it as my purchase price is low. Hence, i will continue to keep it. If today lingger around 2.60, then it should be safe. Any news on this again or discussion will revive the price upward.

I think it is not a good idea to rush in now. Najib is facing pressing problem by 1MDB. 3 billion
interest payment is going to due soon. Cabinet is in "derhaka mood"--ejecting Najib's request
to bail out 1MDB. Azmin is running his victory lapse now. So who are in the negotiating Table?

it seems like the share price is very much dependent on the news whether the deal is confirmed or not....but not by the fundamental that hng33 has captured...why??? ppl do not care about fundamental nowaday? or it is because no matter how good puncak EPS (50 or 60 or 100)...it is not attractive to investor because puncak do not give regular dividend even with good financial results?? please help me to understand all sifu...

wonder if the whole issue is merely due to no money to get it going?!? if so, best for Puncak suing state for money

Cut water supply and let Selangor folks feel the pain if state government keep delay.

that will put puncak into heavy lawsuit, think better with suing state government to collect money with federal helping speeding up the process

Putrajaya wants Azmin’s answer after Selangor cancels water deal

By The Malaysian Insider / The Malaysian Insider | March 10, 2015 : 10:59

KUALA LUMPUR (Mar 10): Putrajaya wants Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali to explain why he cancelled the agreement made last September to restructure the water services in the state.

Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili in an Utusan Malaysia ( Financial Dashboard) report today said the ministry was waiting for an official letter from the Selangor government before taking the next course of action.

"We will wait for the official letter from the Selangor government and its explanation for refusing to extend the water agreement," he was reported as saying in the Umno-owned Malay daily.

It was reported yesterday that Selangor had revoked the controversial water agreement with Putrajaya inked by Azmin's predecessor Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim in September last year.

Azmin told reporters in Parliament that the Federal Government had failed to comply with conditions set by the state government.

what is the purpose of investment...is return, no dividend, everybody run away..the last dividend payout was jun 2013...i think puncak should announce some dividend even without the money from government to give confidence to the investors, i think there were few rounds that we can escape from this counter when it went up above RM3 and RM2.8 sth but we choosed to believe our BOLEH gov thus ended up we are stuck...no doubt, puncak has good fundamental but frankly the management is not really kind to the investors...investment return is still the main concern...hopefully those big players like EPF and LTH are still keeping their shares otherwise...we will become salted fish...

haha... you are right, superb. I was in the money many times, but choose to stick to this believing in an eventual completion. I am having not much faith with overall market over commodities issues and decide to stick to company with potentially heavy cash on hand as safety net. guess potential is not firm

Main reason is Anwar was jailed. First should cut water supply to Azmin house.

The conflict between the federal and state governments is centred on a dispute which materialised after the federal government claimed the Semenyih and Bukit Nanas reservoirs, together with all the water pipelines in Selangor, are under Putrajaya’s management and ownership, while the Selangor ruling-party, Pakatan, said the assets belong to the Selangor government.

The Selangor state government is unlikely to grant the federal government a third extension to the master agreement signed on 12 Sep last year to restructure the state’s water supply industry.

Selangor government had disagreed to extend the deadline to accommodate some changes to the master agreement, which would allow the federal government to acquire all land utilised for water assets (such as pipes, plants and reservoirs) for free
