Halite,could it be the reason if 10.6 breaks then it will go much lower?From the chart perspective strong possibility that if 10.6 breaks $10 won't hold for long.It could then rebound to ard $10.6 then go much lower.As I have said earlier, it has moved very far away from the moving average.I am not bad mouthing this counter,just be aware of the risk and manage it.Good luck

you sound like a trader more like a investor to me. If talk about in the sense of investing, if based on your scenario, if me, after used up my cash, I would use whatever financing way to buy more petronm in such price, I see this as rare opportunity to grab it... if u tell me this company is doing bad in terms of its fundamental thus its share price drop I can understand... but now the fact is, this company achieve good result, eps rm1.50 with CONSISTENT result each quarter, ZERO DEBT, NET CASH and STRONG CASHFLOW company, acceptable dividend payout... shouldn't it be to add more if reached such scenario u said?

sometimes I don't understand some ppl thinking... perhaps this is why some ppl earning big and some ppl don't....

Sometimes in life,it's not what it seems.If everyone has the same opinion,there won't be any sellers at this price,would there?That's the beauty of what we call market.I make my judgement based mostly on charts the possibility of upside and downside.Actually no one knows for sure.

You will see no charts go up without correction nor goes down without upward movement.If the price moves very far from the moving average,you will find for whatever reason it will correct back near or to the moving average.Anyway that's just my observation.I am sure you have your investment/trading methodlogy to win.

My view.
Do not rely solely on chart patterns to trade.
To interpreted the chart well you still need to know the company well first. If you ignore the fundamental of the company and rely solely on chart to trade, you are actually more or less testing your luck, slightly better compare with 4 ekor. Chart do make some people rich but make even more people go bankrupt. Beware.

As long as Petronm doesn't answer the elephant in the room (RM14 bil expansion) its price will not fly. Anyway, i reenter to buy a little @ 10.46 after disposing it all few weeks ago, maybe i trust in Halite's faith, hahaha.

been studying the FOUR Quarters PROFIT YEAR 2017 of Petronm lah
Q 4 Profit down 15% from Q 3

But in Q 2 profit also dropped 20% from Q 1 only to rebound strongly in Q3

The largest profit was Q 4 Year 2016

Just goes to show profit go up and down
Petronm can bounce back

Thats the problem, still uncertain how they gonna address the rm14 bil funding. As long as there is uncertainty its share price wont fly. However if they announce rights issue then you will be screwed. So i rather wait until it is clear, so either i get to buy at massive discounts with rights issue or slightly more expensive if no rights issue!
