In fact ytlp is the FIRST non US Company in Asia to partner NVIDIA DGX CLOUD NVIDIA for its cloud services along side another 5 mega appointed partners namely microsoft Azure, Amazon Wn, Oracle cloud and Google cloud to bring cutting edge cloud services with their advance AI chips.

NVIDIA's investment with YTL Power International strengthens Malaysia's position in global chip supply chain
KUALA LUMPUR: Nvidia's significant investments in Malaysia are relevant for the country, as the company focuses on specialised chip architectures, strengthening Malaysia's position in the global chip supply chain, said an expert.
Nvidia's collaboration with YTL brings a total investment of RM20 billion to Malaysia.
Professor of International History, Prof Dr Chris Miller, at The Fletcher School, Tufts University, noted that while Nvidia is the world's largest chip company, it primarily designs chips and does not engage in manufacturing, packaging, or assembly. Despite this, he noted that Nvidia remains the largest chip company by market value.
"I think this trend and growing focus on chip design is highly relevant for Malaysia as it seeks to diversify its position in the chip supply chain and take on an even bigger role in the future," he said at the Malaysia Economic Forum 2025 held here yesterday.
He said major tech firms like Nvidia, which specialise in special-purpose chips solely for artificial intelligence (AI), are where the advancements are occurring most rapidly.
"This is why the world's biggest technology companies are becoming chip designers. Microsoft, Alibaba, Baidu, and Facebook are all designing their own chips, realising that having chips tailored to their exact needs makes them more capable of running the AI workloads they require," he said.

Yesterday was interesting!
Despite the huge overall bursa net selling by foreign funds (325m),
YTL and YTLPower were not in the top 10 buy/sell net counters for foreign funds.
Meaning they stayed put.
The culprits were Local institutions that sold 11m of YTL and 8m of YTLPower
Good sign because I think foreign funds knows what is happening in the US.
Anyway YTLPower confirmed it in the edge article.

“We are confident that we will not be affected by the latest announcement on the limitation on the export of GPUs,” said Yeoh.
“We understand that American hyperscalers, which include Nvidia, are not subject to the limits. As the only non-US company selected by Nvidia in Asia to deploy its latest chips on its DGX Cloud AI platform, there should be no issue with our roll-out,” he said.
To be sure, under the alleged proposed regulation, firms headquartered in the US can apply for blanket US government permission to ship chips to data centres in most other parts of the world, based on certain volumes.
Separately, Nvidia DGX Cloud vice-president Alexis Black Bjorlin also named YTL Corp as one of five partners, alongside Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud, which will “bring cutting-edge Nvidia technology to their clouds”.
A fund manager, when contacted, believes that the policy will be positive for YTL Power in view that “even less [parties] will get access to GB200 [GPUs] in its vicinity, while it has preferential treatment”.
