Peugeot is Not a Volume contributor to Bauto revenue. Just the Opposite it requires Promotion and Spare parts maintenance, taking away Cash which should be Dividend to Shareholders. Bauto as a Dealer to Peugeot is much better deal
Feel losing the master dealership for peugeot will have little og Bauto's bottomline. They will still be selling the vehicles without the need to do any market promotion...Stellatis may take a while to estabish their setup here...
MBM Resources Quarter Result Quarter Result on 30-Sep-2023[#3] QoQ - 101.74% YoY - 72.29%. ________________________ 100% jump in QoQ profit ( 13 sens Dividend )-----Expect BAUTO to do very Good too
War of Giants. EPF donT want to pay more for Prudential shares. Keep pushing down to force Prudential to unload. Remaining Bauto (5% or less) in Prudential should be unloaded next week. With EPF being King of the Hill, you should expect price to Breach RM3 by year end
Bermaz and Peugeot parted ways - 'tis good as it's not a fit for BA strategy. Peugeot is a very low profit and low margin marque and that's a drag to the momentum & resources of BAuto. Kia will provide the electric range for the future and Mazda the ICE & hybrids as an alternative. We will see whether the World is right about electric cars or the Japanese sleep walking to the future with ICE & hybrid cars. Whatever the case, Bermaz has both legs on the road...
KIA EV? Who buys KIA EV? So much more expensive and less range. I only see people buy Chinese EV. Chinese EV is way ahead of the Korean, Japanese, and German EV. USA got Tesla, which is killing it too.
Tesla??! Try driving the new Model 3…it’s just like using your smartphone while you’re driving… You’ll notice there aren't the usual left-right indicator stalks on the steering column. The turn signals have been replaced by 2 tiny buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. That's the part that people seem to be most mad about…imaging you need to look at your steering wheel just to turn on a roundabout. For a left hand drive on a roundabout in China, you’d be looking down at your dic…
EPF & Prudential seems to be buying and selling at the same time.. But noted that EPF has bought much more that it sold over the last few weeks.. Wonder what is their strategy...
I think fund manager invest in tranches and different team. Those that they are selling probably from earlier tranches. They sell now, they can report they made 10-20% for their next performance appraisal and year end bonus.
Trust me EPF wants Bauto above RM3 bcos the # shares EPF is Holding making Capital Gain very substantial. This trouble maker Prudential, if Sell Do it----donT mess around----It makes EPF very irritable
Normally EPF holds about 7% for non-GLC shares. Previous EPF holding was 17% for Bauto. When Prudential keeps selling, EPF thought they can get a Bargain Deal by pushing price down even Bauto keeps recording Good profit every Qr after Covid
I think of buying a block for Dividend if price goes down to 2.20---2.10 range ( Yield is 9% if annual dividend is between 0.18--0.20 )---Peugeot / KIA promotion has Eaten into Revenue ( or else Revenue will be Same as Last Qr )
Just a Christmas wish..... EPF holds some 156.5 m shrs - another 17 m shrs more and it will be the top shareholder. EPF together with PNB, Tabung Haji n KWP already own almost one-third of total shareholdings. Together, can they make a 'mandatory general offer' for a takeover to complete the big picture?
Sounds extremely funny to me---How EPF, PNB & THB solved my Madza Trammission Problems ( change Oil or loosen all the Nuts to give some breathing space to the Gears )
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
